CAOSORDINATO Stefano Chiassai Corinna Chiassai
A personal archive of over 15,000 pieces, including men's clothing and accessories from different eras (from the 19th century to today), to be transformed into a book and an exhibition. This is the idea behind the CAOSORDINATO project by fashion designer, art director and coolhunter Stefano Chiassai in collaboration with his daughter Corinna. This is the way in which the author has chosen to tell his story and his work.
"CAOSORDINATO" was the impression of a moment, that instant in which Chiassai, one day, opening the doors of his immense archive, realized that he was faced with a sort of ordered caos (CAOSORDINATO). A full-bodied set of elements, collected during his travels around the world, and bearers of different styles and stories. Yet, nevertheless, they can be integrated with each other. Historical and contemporary garments can coexist in the same outfit revealing a timeless male figure, profoundly protagonist of his time, whatever it is.
CAOSORDINATO therefore represents the personal vision of men's fashion developed by Stefano Chiassai. Its aesthetic language, its creative process, are the result of contamination and interweaving between past and present, of essential stylistic tributes but also of exciting, passionate interpretative keys to men's clothing.
International fashion books and magazines to learn about trends and perspectives of fashion systems very distant from each other, in terms of geography and culture. Niche designers, emerging stylists, luxury artisans, creatives of Made in Italy…: the following publications will offer you an unpublished fresco of the fashion system at different latitudes and created by those who make fashion.
