Little Song Parfum by Meo Fusciuni from Cycle of Metamorphosis
Little Song is one of the new fragrances by Meo Fusciuni: a complex composition of sensual and poetic notes
Perceiving the passage of time through the notes of a perfume. This is what happens with Little Song, the first parfum of the new collection of perfumes by Meo Fusciuni called Cycle of Metamorphosis.
The passing time changes us. It produces a metamorphosis in us. Even when we are alone with ourselves. Even when it is the solitude to live the time of our life. For example the time of a coffee in the kitchen, of a cigarette on the balcony, of a rose that fades day after day in a vase in the living room. It is precisely the absolute essence of Turkish rose, tobacco and Arabian coffee that compose the olfactory pyramid of Little Song to give life to a single fragrance, to a single voice: a Little Song.
Why "Little Song"? Because it is the title of a poem written by Fusciuni to a friend of his many years ago. Poetry and perfume “Little Song” tell us about the radical change of human expressiveness - a poem in a perfume - and about the changes of a person - a poet to a perfumer. Little Song reveals how people and things are transformed with the passage of time and how time itself is there to change them. Little Song, a poem that becomes a scent, gradually changes from top notes to heart notes to base notes. And it is a metamorphosis projected to infinity.
Little Song is a complex fragrance of structured intensity, rich in poetics, that of metamorphosis, finding in The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus, in The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, in Wings of Desire by Wim Wenders, in Paul Auster and Nick Cave its deepest and refined roots.
